Position Overview:

  • Monitor daily clinic flow including employee assignments in addition to responsibilities such as technical and clerical functions.
  • Works closely with clinic leaders to coordinate schedules and assist in promoting an efficient and productive clinic.
  •  Assists Physicians with examinations, testing, treatments and administrative duties

Essential Duties and Responsibilities: The following are general responsibilities associated with the job and are listed in order of greatest to least amount of time spent on the duties.

● Updates and communicates practice policies and procedures to clinical staff. ● Acts as a liaison between clinic leadership and the clinic staff.

● Provides input to clinic leadership to improve clinic efficiency and productivity. 

● Assists the clinic leader in the training and evaluating of clinical staff. May be asked to provide input to clinic leader for employee reviews.

● Monitors clinical staff for compliance with clinic policies.

● Monitors team hours to minimize overtime and make changes to the schedule as patient flow allows, communicating to the clinic leader when appropriate.

● Maintains knowledge of all aspects of the clinic, such as front desk, medical records, surgery scheduling, and contact center for coordination purposes.

 ● Completes tasks requested by Physicians and delegates as appropriate.

● Assists in triage for patient calls and walk-ins (go to person on the team).

 Job may require other duties as assigned.
